Grass mat and artificial turf resemble each other, and they are often referred to as the same product. The term “grass mat” is perhaps more commonly used when talking about plastic doormats, but the idea is the same as with artificial turf: “blades of grass” are attached to a mat-like, water-permeable base. Depending on the artificial turf, 2.5–6 kg of sand is needed per square meter.
As its name suggests, the patio mat is a product suitable for patios and balconies. The pile on the patio mat is shorter than on artificial turf (4.5 mm), and no separate installation sand is needed. Caring for Artificial Turf and Outdoor Mats
The patio mat can be cleaned when dry with both a leaf blower and by sweeping. Additionally, both artificial turf and patio mats can be easily washed if needed by spraying them with a garden hose. The products also withstand warm water and mild detergents. If a section of the mat gets damaged, you can order a replacement piece from us – you don’t have to throw the whole mat away!
