Purchasing

The Expomatto.fi online store also allows purchases for companies, municipalities, the state, and other entities with a Business ID. The purchasing process is nearly the same as for consumer sales.

When you proceed to payment, you’ll identify yourself as a business customer on the form by selecting the ‘business’ option and providing your email address, postal code, and Business ID. After that, you can use separate billing and delivery addresses. You can also enter a reference number for the order if you wish. Depending on the payment method, the person making the purchase must have an approved credit card or the right to sign for the company.

General Terms

The online store is maintained by Expomatto Oy, where Expomatto Oy (Business ID FI06965970) acts as the seller. Expomatto Oy reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without separate notice. Each order is subject to the terms and conditions that were in effect at the time the order was placed.

The seller is not liable for any direct or indirect damages to products or customers that result from a force majeure situation, or an insurmountable obstacle. An insurmountable obstacle is considered to be an unforeseeable factor or a change in circumstances that is beyond the seller’s control and which the seller cannot reasonably overcome. The seller is obligated to inform the customer about the insurmountable obstacle as soon as possible.

Products & Pricing

All prices include value-added tax (VAT). Shipping costs and payment method surcharges, based on your chosen delivery and payment methods, will be added to the prices. Products are sold at the price, shipping costs, and payment method surcharges that were valid in the online store at the time of your order. The seller reserves the right to limit or refuse to sell products in exceptionally large quantities or due to a clear pricing error.

At the checkout, the final order breakdown will also show the tax-free price and the total tax amount.

Payment Methods

For businesses, we offer credit card payments through our online store. There are no separate payment method or invoicing surcharges. Before confirming your order, you’ll see the final price with and without tax. The payment methods available at the time of your order are shown on the order form. When you select a payment option, the system will guide you to fill in the necessary fields.

Accepted credit cards are Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. If you’re using a company credit card, it must be in your name.

In some cases, the invoicing option for businesses might not be available or visible. If that happens and paying by card isn’t an option, we recommend placing your order by email at myynti(@)expomatto.fi.

E-invoicing

Our online store does not support the option for e-invoicing. If your company uses e-invoicing and would like to use it, please contact our sales team at myynti(@)expomatto.fi. We can create your order with an e-invoice or a standard invoice based on the information you provide.

Delivery Methods & Costs

We deliver all orders in cooperation with Matkahuolto and Schenker, whose networks cover all of Finland.

Our delivery methods include:

  • Pickup point parcel and business parcel (Matkahuolto distribution parcel).
  • For orders over 35 kg, Schenker freight to a business address (this does not include indoor delivery).

Shipping costs are added to all deliveries based on the weight of the freight.

Delivery Time & Tracking

Your order’s processing time is an average of 1-2 business days from payment or confirmation. Shipping time is generally 1-4 business days, but this depends entirely on the transport company and the delivery method you choose. We aim to ship orders placed by 11:00 AM on weekdays on the same day. Orders placed after 11:00 AM, on weekends, or on public holidays will be shipped on the next business day.

All shipment-related information is sent to the email address you provided, so please make sure you enter it correctly when placing your order. Also, remember to provide your phone number so we can contact you quickly about your order if needed.
