Carpet installation – glue-down installation recommended

Texway office carpet should always be installed primarily by gluing it to the floor to ensure maximum safety, durability, and a clean, professional finish. Glue-down installation prevents carpet movement, rippling, and edge lifting, especially in high-traffic commercial environments.

The use of tape is recommended only for temporary installations, such as short-term events or temporary space solutions.

Carpet tape for temporary installations

If the carpet is installed temporarily, high-quality carpet tape is required:

• Low-tack tape: suitable for parquet, laminate, and coated or polished concrete floors
• High-tack tape: suitable for raw concrete or uneven floor surfaces

Carpet adhesive

For permanent installations, we recommend using carpet adhesive, which is widely available at hardware stores. Proper glue-down installation ensures a safe, long-lasting, and professional result.
